Not a lot of action in the first half, but RB Leipzig manages to score their first goal of the tournament after five minutes through Hannes Laspe. Midway through the first half Benfica deservedly equalize 1-1, which was also the half time score.

The second half sees Benfica have the upper hand and creating several good chances, as well as hitting the woodwork two times. RB Leipzig has the occassional break, but is never really dangerous.
