After both semifinals, we can conclude that the final of the Otten Innovation Cup this year will be played between Atlético Madrid and AS Monaco.

Atletico Madrid - Club Brugge
The first semifinal saw Atlético Madrid battle Club Brugge.

Brugge came out strong but couldn’t finish their chances. In the 15th minute, Grady McDonnell was shown a yellow card. Atlético also failed to create much, and soon after Ilyas Bouazzaoui fired a free kick wide. Saúl Fernández was booked for Atlético before halftime, with the score still locked at 0-0.

The second half brought more opportunities for Brugge, but no breakthrough. Tensions boiled over late on: Atlético collected another yellow, while Brugge’s goalkeeping coach was sent off. With no goals after 90 minutes, it all came down to penalties.

Atlético held their nerve, winning 5-4 in the shootout after Samuel Gomez van den Hoogen missed the final kick.

PSV - AS Monaco
On the main pitch, PSV clashed with AS Monaco. PSV started on the front foot, but midway through the first half Monaco took control.

Sami Bouhoudane thought he had scored from a free kick, but it was ruled out for offside. Monaco’s quick restart nearly caught PSV out, but the danger was cleared. Minutes later, Nael Haddani struck for Monaco, and almost immediately Yannick Dodo doubled the lead. At halftime, it was 2-0.

PSV pushed in the second half, but Monaco stayed firm and looked increasingly confident. A third goal sealed the win.

In the last phase Khaderi was booked and Kuijsten sent off for PSV, but nothing changed the outcome. Monaco marched into the final with a deserved 3-0 win.
